TextPilot ("we," "our," or "the extension") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
TextPilot is designed to collect as little data as possible. The only information stored locally on your device includes:
We do not collect, store, or have access to your contact lists, phone numbers, message content, or any personal information from your CSV files. All of that data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
The information collected is used only to:
We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your data with any third parties for marketing or any other purposes.
When you activate a license key, TextPilot contacts our licensing provider to confirm the key is valid and in good standing. Only your license key is transmitted during this process — no personal information is sent.
When you use iPhone mode, your processed contact list is temporarily stored on our secure cloud infrastructure to generate a QR code for your device. This data is encrypted in transit, is not linked to your identity, and is automatically deleted after a short retention period. We do not access, read, or analyze the content of your messages.
TextPilot automates actions within Google Voice on your behalf. We do not log, store, intercept, or transmit any data that passes through Google Voice during this process. All automation happens locally within your browser session.
Using automation tools with messaging platforms carries inherent risks. Google Voice, Apple iMessage, and SMS carriers may suspend, ban, or restrict accounts that use automation or send high volumes of messages. TextPilot is designed for legitimate business communications with contacts who have consented to receive messages from you. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws (including TCPA and CAN-SPAM) and platform terms of service. For full details, please see our Terms of Service.
All local data (license status, usage counts) is stored in your browser's extension storage and can be deleted at any time by removing the extension. Cloud-processed data for iPhone mode is automatically purged on a rolling basis and is never retained permanently.
TextPilot is intended for business and professional use only. We do not knowingly collect any information from users under the age of 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of TextPilot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
